Bromma reports new spreader contracts
Bromma has reported new orders for the supply of a total of 86 yard crane spreaders. This includes an order for 52 YSX45 single-lift electro-hydraulic spreaders for Rotterdam World Gateway (RWG), the Dubai Ports World-led project at Maasvlakte II. As previously reported, RWG has ordered a total of 50 automated stacking cranes from Gottwald. All the spreaders are required to be on site by September 2014....

Hyster has reported a purchase order for nine RS46-36 reach stackers, a 25t FLT and a 32t FLT from Katoen Natie (KN) for various high intensity container terminal and stevedoring applications around Antwerp, following a challenging tender process designed to identify the best total cost of ownership. After the first months of operation KN measured a 6 litres/ hour saving in fuel per truck; over a 5-6 year period, that could amount to 90,000 litres saved....
