Air China gets nod for $168.34m placement
Air China, Asia's second-largest airline by market value, said the China Securities Regulatory Commission, China's stock market regulator, has approved a US$168.34 million private share placement, reported Reuters.



Atlas Air Q3 profit up 20%
Atlas Air third-quarter earnings rose 20 percent as the cargo airline company reported higher revenue in its core aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance-leasing business.





Approval for SIA, SAS joint venture
Singapore Airlines (SIA) has received regulatory approval for its joint venture with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), enabling it to increase services between Singapore and Copenhagen, reported Business Times Singapore.
