China Airlines (CI) recently signed a contract with secure cold chain logistics solutions provider Envirotainer as the Taiwan carrier seeks to capture a greater share of the healthcare market.

ILFC deal deadline extended further
American International Group's unit extended the date for a Chinese consortium to get regulatory approvals to buy the airplane-leasing business till July 31, reported Reuters.

Gulftainer to operate

Sharjah-based Gulftainer has acquired a 51 per cent stake in Saudi Arabia's Gulf Stevedoring Contracting Company (GSCCO), allowing it to assume the full management of three Saudi terminals located in Jeddah and Jubail.



ANL and Agility to launch PNG joint venture
Major shipping company ANL Singapore and Agility, a logistics provider, will launch a new joint venture in PNG on July 1, 2013. The joint venture company, named ANL Agencies, will primarily handle ANL's shipping agency business throughout PNG.
